Kevin Cooke joined Templeman as an Associate Lawyer in 2015. Kevin is a member of the firm’s litigation department and practices primarily in the areas of insurance defence and family law.
Kevin obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University, as well as his Master’s Degree in Social and Public Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Before obtaining his law degree, Kevin worked as the Press Secretary/Communications Advisor to the Minister of Community and Social Services.
Kevin obtained his J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2013. During law school, Kevin was actively involved in the student legal clinic where he supervised a group of students and assisted them in managing various legal files. Kevin also acted as a research assistant with the National Self Represented Litigants Project and he was actively involved with various groups and committees throughout his time in the law school.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin articled at a mid-sized Bay Street firm and upon his call to the Ontario Bar he worked as an Associate at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. Kevin is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, The Ontario Bar Association and the Frontenac Law Association.
