Samantha Foster joined Templeman as an Associate Lawyer in 2015. Samantha practices in the firm’s Municipal and Civil Litigation groups.
Samantha obtained her Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) from the University of Ottawa, and her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. During law school, Samantha completed an intensive program with the Human Rights Legal Support Centre where she assisted with files before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She also worked with the Law Commission of Ontario supporting various law reform projects. In addition, she volunteered with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic’s Family Court Support program through Pro Bono Students Canada. Throughout her time at law school, Samantha was actively involved with multiple groups and committees, including competing internationally as a member of Osgoode’s mediation team.
Prior to joining the firm, Samantha articled with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Crown Law Office-Civil, doing civil litigation for the province of Ontario.
Samantha is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association.
