Wilfrid Menninga is one of the founding members of the firm and is the lead lawyer in our Civil Litigation Practice area. Mr. Menninga restricts his practice to civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance, personal injury and commercial litigation.
Over his distinguished legal career he has appeared as counsel in hundreds of trials and is regularly called upon to act in some of the most complex litigation matters and has been involved in many precedent-setting decisions. He is often called upon by the firm’s business clientele to provide proactive advice with respect to transactional steps to be taken to avoid potential litigation.
Wilfrid received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Commerce from Simon Fraser University. He attended Osgoode Hall law school and has completed the Harvard University Mediation Program. He is certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Mr. Menninga is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Frontenac Law Association and the Advocates Society.
