Areas of Practice
Joining Templeman LLP in 2025, Lisa Scheulderman is an Associate Lawyer in the Municipal and Planning department. Lisa was called to the bar in 2016 and has extensive experience advising municipalities and private clients on a range of municipal law, land use planning and municipal governance issues. Lisa has appeared before various tribunals and levels of Court on municipal and planning law matters.
Lisa completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Finance from McGill University and Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Lisa spent several years working in Corporate Banking at a large Canadian bank in downtown Toronto. Following graduation from law school, Lisa articled and practiced at a leading downtown Toronto law firm before deciding to continue her career in Kingston.
Lisa’s work has been published in the Canadian Competition Law Review and presented at various seminars and conferences including the Kingston & The 1000 Islands Legal Conference.
Outside of the office, Lisa can be found exploring the outdoors in Kingston and the surrounding area.
