Nick Zapotochny

Nick spent three summers with a general practice firm in his hometown of Timmins, Ontario before joining Templeman LLP as an articling student in 2022. He is now an associate lawyer at the firm, practicing primarily in civil litigation and family law.
Nick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph-Humber, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies from the University of Guelph and a diploma in Police Foundations from Humber College.
He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. While at law school, Nick volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project, an initiative aimed at increasing access to justice for low-income persons in the Kingston area. He was also a volunteer editor for the Queen’s Law Journal.
Nick is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Frontenac Law Association.
