Zach is an associate at Templeman LLP, having joined the firm as an Articling Student in August of 2022. Zach practices mainly in the areas of wills & estates and residential and commercial real estate. Additionally, he assists in various corporate and commercial matters.

After living overseas with his family for six years, Zach completed his Bachelor of Science, Honors Specialization in Chemistry, at Western University. He then spent a few years working as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry and for an environmental company before starting law school at Queen’s University.

In his wills & estates practice, Zach frequently advises clients on a wide breadth of estate planning matters, regularly preparing wills, powers of attorney, and various trust arrangements. He also frequently assists clients in navigating the process of applying for probate and advises on other estate administration matters.

In his real estate practice, Zach assists clients with their acquisition and disposition of residential and commercial properties. His work includes preparing and reviewing agreements of purchase and sale, title corrections, executing planning and severance applications and approvals, and assisting with financing.

Zach is an active member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Frontenac Law Association.

When not at work, you can find Zach at the gym, by the water, at one of Kingston’s cafes, or slowing down colleague Nick Zapotochny on the golf course.
