Mukhtar Hindi
BHSc (Hons.), J.D. | Associate

Mukhtar is an Associate Lawyer at Templeman LLP. His practice is mainly civil litigation, with further work in family law, real estate, and estates and trusts, particularly where those matters become contested. He spent two summers at the firm as a student before returning to article, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2026.
Mukhtar holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University (2020) and a J.D. from Queen’s University (2025). His science background gives him a strong footing in medical and technical evidence, which is an asset in litigation, capacity questions, and contested estates. At Western he served as an elected Faculty Councillor on the University Students’ Council and competed with the Western Model UN Society.
At Queen’s, Mukhtar co-founded the Future Kingston Lawyers Club to connect students with the local bar, and co-hosted the Queen’s Bench podcast. He remains an active member of the Frontenac Law Association.
Before law school he also founded TechTribe Inc., a web development studio with clients on four continents, and that technical background keeps him at ease with the electronic side of modern practice.
Mukhtar is fluent in English and Arabic and works comfortably in French, and he can take instructions, run a meeting, and explain a client’s options across those languages. In a region where Arabic is one of the fastest-growing languages and French remains part of the fabric of the community, that reach turns legal advice into genuine access to justice.
Away from the office, Mukhtar is happiest making and fixing things. He designs and 3D-prints his own parts, rebuilds and maintains his cars, and works through a steady run of hands-on projects across mechanics, electronics, and audio.
