Daniel Querques
B.A.(Hons.), M.P.A., J.D. | Associate

Daniel is an Associate Lawyer at Templeman LLP, specializing in Municipal Law, Land Use Planning and Development, and Civil Litigation related to Municipal Liability. He initially joined the firm as a Summer Student in 2022, returned for another summer in 2023, and subsequently began his Articling Student position in the summer of 2024, before being called to the bar in 2025.
Daniel holds a law degree, a Master’s degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies with Distinctions, all from Queen’s University. During law school, he contributed to the Queen’s Law community acting as the Managing Editor of the Queen’s Law Journal Style Guide. His achievements also include the Empire Life Scholarship, awarded for academic excellence.
Prior to joining Templeman LLP, Daniel gained experience as a Student Policy Advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Government and Municipal Services. In this role, he provided research-based policy recommendations on regulatory compliance, environmental assessments, and site remediation.
Outside of the office, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors with his fiancée and dog, cooking, and grappling.
